tenderloin project
Headed by Sean Desmond and John Elliott, The Tenderloin Project takes a rarely seen street-level look into San Francisco’s infamous neighborhood, The Tenderloin. The subject matter delves into the everyday struggles of the area’s people. Proceeds from this video project will go directly to help the community of homeless. A few months back in April we introduced The Tenderloin Project to our friends, families and the viewers of our blog. Sean Desmond and John Elliott are the masterminds behind this amazing project that takes us on a journey through the everyday struggle through one of San Francisco’s most infamous neighborhoods. Sean Desmond and John Elliott asked us to be a part of the project and we felt it was an amazing opportunity to join forces and showcase their amazing work as a collaboration through our line. All the proceeds will be donated to the Tenderloin District to help build the community for the homeless. Hope exists and giving back to the community a little at a time makes a difference. This is our start. In the next coming weeks we will have more information on the event and the products that we will be releasing.
“The Tenderloin Project” is an ongoing artistic endeavor focused on one of San Francisco’s most marginalized neighborhoods, The Tenderloin. Utilizing the interactive mediums of photography and film, we aim to capture a compelling and honest portrait of this diverse community.
With living exhibitions that will travel through San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York the project will be showcased in a variety of outlets, creating access for a range of viewers to see these intimate, yet objective images, and to understand what life is like in the Tenderloin.
The project will culminate in publishing the images in book form, with proceeds from the sales being donated to organizations that promote and give access to art in the Tenderloin. This, we feel, will allow our project to live on for years and generations to come in the form of art within the community.”

Happy 1 year skinnyboughtem
this past friday was the 1 year anniversery of skinnyboughtem. and as a blog that is more visual than content i just wanted to thank everyone who has checked this blog or is looking at it right now. i can remember that paramount day when the blog was started and i was bored at my law firm job. this past year has gone by really fast and there is too much blogging to recap or have areview day. it is 5am and i am not asleep which is how most of my posts start. the content and format of the blog has changed but the love of this hasnt. i get a lot of emails and questios that i dont repond to. this blog is kind of a mystery. no meaning no purpose just a campaign to bring you beauty or what i think is beauty. from my screen to your screen i hope yo have enjoyed living vocariously through skinyboughtem. this blog is not a diary, not a magazine not really anything. just something that cronicles or hs cronicled the last year of internet surfing. a lot of people ask why arent you personal or why dont your rite about your life/put pictures up. because it isnt that kind of blog. plain and simple. i dod not write much in this blog because it fucks up the feng shway of the blog. i like this blog ecause to me it is the most aethetically pleasing thing on the internet for me. i check this blog when im bored and need something to distract me from my life.i do not even know why i am writing this right now but hopefully it gives you insight on the interworking of the mind that has helped skinnyboughtem. weve gotten a year of good feedback and want to keep it up. so keepp posted and keep induldging in this internet cornea sex whatever that may mean. skinnyboughtem.blogspot.com check the twtter, facebook, myspace everything skinnyboughtem asociated
