Vans Vault 2009 Fall/Winter Del Barco Low

On a similar note to the recently seen Chukka Del Barco from Vans Vault’s 2009 fall/winter collection, here’s a look at the similarily done-up Del Bacro Low. Some of the colorways transfer over from the Chukka Del Barcos with the anatomy of the shoe virtually the same except for the obvious chopped off mid-cut upper. No word yet on availability.

Al Sharpton on the post

Al Sharpton continued to condemn the NY Post cartoon from his soap-box - and rightfully so:

Murdoch’s “apology leaves a lot more questions than it gives answers,” Sharpton said Tuesday. “The question is what will guarantee that these kinds of things will not happen again. Let us make no mistake about it: We have seen two apologies in one week — really one and a half apologies — which is unprecedented, but clearly not far enough.”

Not that we don’t agree with ole dude, but no one beats a dead horse quite like Al Sharpton.

Obama should be king

But while our economy may be weakened and our confidence shaken; though we are living through difficult and uncertain times, tonight I want every American to know this: We will rebuild, we will recover, and the United States of America will emerge stronger than before.

The weight of this crisis will not determine the destiny of this nation. The answers to our problems don’t lie beyond our reach. They exist in our laboratories and universities; in our fields and our factories; in the imaginations of our entrepreneurs and the pride of the hardest-working people on Earth. Those qualities that have made America the greatest force of progress and prosperity in human history we still possess in ample measure. What is required now is for this country to pull together, confront boldly the challenges we face, and take responsibility for our future once more.

He may not be able to accomplish some of his goals in office, but we got to give it to the brotha for trying to plant the seeds for the future.
this was like some hollywood production it looked like a politicin allstar game and obama was hittin am out the park. real talk it was barry bonds shit. he was vn signing autographs for senators after the speech. it was moving to say the least>

Marijuana inc.on CNBC

this is what needed to come out years ago. I am from california and northern cali at that an this whole documentery was straight up northern cali. i havent seen nothin as interesting on msnbc since to catch a predetor or the sex trafficing documentary. this marijuana inc. is off the hook they go to oaksterdam in the town which i used to work right next to Oaksterdam is a small weed college in downtown oakland and they are trying to gentrify the delapidated areas of downtown and revitalze the community through tourism and revenue from marijuana sales. its based off of Amsterdam Holland. and they show the oakland cannibis clubs. i hella miss my cannibis club crd. i havent had one in a year. they even talk about not only decriminalizing but legalizingweed in california which is awsome. its kinda like the repeal of prohibition during the great depression. legalization would create jobs, take the criminal element out of weed sales and bring much needed revenue to the state. in norhen cali everyone would open up a weed shop nd it would just be like ll the dive bars but with weed in them. finally. i am pretty sure weed is gettingmore mainstream because more and more white america s smoking these days. uncle sam is starting to see it is not just coloreds gettin hig and makingmoney and maybe it would be better if it were legal. all in the news its coming a reality. aa cali assemblyman proposed something today, to the califoernia assembly. the only people against it are police lobbyist and thats because police wold be losing alot of money not arresting black people. why else woul the police lobby be against it .they seem to be the only ones that want to keep marijuana criminal. california has always been an inovative nd foward thinking state and an expirimental sample of the american population. i think if california did this it would take california out of this bankruptcy and make l lot of money and the federal government would take notice and follow suit. i do not ake many subjects serious but this is something i am adamant about. i am loaded right now and went off on so many tangents but i sdont givr a fuck because this s my platform. oh yeah sorry for all the typos.

Fabolous’ Tour Bus Allegedly Popped With 500 Pounds of Chronic!

Fabo’s bus was stopped in Arkansas and 500 pounds of herb were found inside:

Rapper Fabolous may have been mentioned in a drug bust of over 500 pounds of marijuana which was found on a tour bus traveling through Arkansas on it’s way to Boston from Phoenix where the NBA All-Star Weekend took place. It seems that Arkansas State Police initiated a traffic stop on the tour bus as it was passing through the heavily monitored Interstate 40 near Russellville. According to Michael Ford of Arkansas Courier, there were no rappers on board the bus, however the two drivers were arrested. Edward Thimas, 52, of Douglasville, GA., and Robert Morris, 44, of Augusta, GA both began to offer information as the police interrogated them claiming that none of the items in the locked compartment on the bus containing the marijuana, belonged to them, but actually to the people that they were transporting. However, the two were still arrested after they gave the conflicting stories to the police. Thimas told police they were returning from the game in Phoenix after escorting rapper Fabolous (spelled Fabulous in the report by The Arkansas Courier). He added that the two were headed to Boston to pick up another rapper whose name he couldn’t recall. On the other hand, Morris’ side of the story according to police reports, was that the two had taken three rappers from Atlanta to Phoenix and were going to Boston to meet them as the rappers had flown ahead. Later Thimas attempted to match his story with Morris’, but the police at this time were already suspicious of the two. Officers proceeded to search their bus with permission where they found the pounds of marijuana which the drivers, as previously mentioned stating the the contents wasn’t theirs, but the “other guys’ merchandise.” The two drivers had over $4,000 in cash combined in their possession as well as an additional $2400 in a black bag. In an attempt to cooperate with the police further, Morris additionally stated he’d help in the investigation because it was the rappers not them who put the bags and boxes on the bus. The two were arrested on drug possession and other charges and on Wednesday received a bond of $200,000 for Morris and a bond of $75,000 for Thimas. At the time of their arrest the two drivers had over $4,000 in cash combined in their possession as well as an additional $2400 in a black bag. The time and location of the arrest both hint that it may have been rapper Fabolous on the tour bus as the rapper was reportedly in Phoenix on that mentioned weekend. According to the rapper’s Myspace page, Fabolous was scheduled to perform at The W Hotel on February 13th, and Club Phoenix on February 15th. Meanwhile, no official statement has been released from Fabolous’ camp about this incident.

It looks like someone may be trying to pass the buck here. It should be very hard to prove that the bud belonged to Fab…right?

Bristol Palin Says Abstinence Is Silly, Mmmkay?

people accused her of being the real mother to her brother, Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin’s retarded son. I mean, that has got to be rough, to be a pregnant, unwed teen mother that’s also being scrutinized for giving birth to your mother’s retarded kid, even though you didn’t cause you were busy making your own baby. Anyways, Bristol gave an interview to Fox news where she candidly made some points that had her sounding more intelligent than her mother.

For more on that Bristol and her interview check it out after the jump>>>

Bristol Palin says she doesn’t regret giving birth to her son at all, which I guess is acceptable, cause what else is there to do in Alaska but get bored and have sex? Which brings up the point of abstinence. Bristol pointed out that it is ideal to wait until you are married to have sex, but actually believing that teenagers will wait is, “not realistic at all.”

Well of course it isn’t realistic. Clearly Bristol realized the joy of sex super early and couldn’t help herself from going to bone down town with her boyfriend, and the father of her young son. At least Bristol was able to admit it during an interview. I am always amazed by people that run around preaching abstinence. Is it really possible? I mean, I know it is, but shouldn’t you tell your children it is best to abstain from sex BUT if you’re gonna do the horizontal mambo please be responsible?

According the Bristol the worst part of the pregnancy was telling her parents. She apparently faced the firing squad when she announced she was preggers, but like any good parents she said they supported her decision to keep her baby as though she were Madonna and they were Danny Aiello…Papa Don’t Preach, right?

Now that Bristol has exhausted her final fifteen minutes, she’ll probably fade away into obscurity with her boring husband and young son. If not, maybe she’ll end up like Pauly Shore. Awesome.

Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian actor, rapper and singer. He is known for playing Jimmy Brooks, the physically disabled character on Degrassi: The Next Generation. As a rapper, Graham uses the stage name Drake, and is often billed as the new version of The Fresh Prince.[1] He is currently signed to Interscope Records.

[edit] Personal life
Graham was born in Toronto, Ontario, the son of Dennis Graham, a drummer who worked with Jerry Lee Lewis; his uncle is musician Teenie Hodges.[2] His father is African American (a native of Memphis, Tennessee) and his mother is a Jewish Canadian.[3][4][5] He attended elementary school at Forest Hill Public School and high school at Forest Hill Collegiate Institute, where he began acting.[4]

[edit] Career
Since 2001, Graham has played Jimmy Brooks, the student who was injured in a school shooting at Degrassi Community School, making him the first main character with a physical disability on Degrassi: The Next Generation. He also appeared in the film Charlie Bartlett, co-starring Anton Yelchin and Robert Downey, Jr., which was released on February 22, 2008.

As a rapper, Graham has three self-published mixtapes, Room for Improvement, Comeback Season and So Far Gone, under the stage name Drake.[6] Room For Improvement was produced by DJ Smallz. He shot a video for his debut single "Replacement Girl" which features R&B singer Trey Songz.[7][8] He also made a cameo appearance in Trey Songz's "Wonder Woman" video. During the process of recording and writing for both mixtapes, Drake worked with a fair amount of artists like,Faizan Tariq, Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Bub B, Colin Munroe, Voyce, Lykke Li, written with Jazz Cartier, Olivier and Dr Dre to get publicity. Trey Songz was featured on all three mixtapes, and Lil Wayne and Robin Thicke worked on Comeback Season.
