After having checked out the full length version of Nike’s newest promotional commercial for the Zoom Kobe IV, we get a closer look at the highly anticipated Air Yeezy’s. The kicks are probably the most hyped up Nike sneakers to date, due to clever marketing by the corporate giant. Multi-faceted Australian artist/designer Dan McPharlin gives a look into some of his miniature retro synthesizers created entirely of paper and cardboard. His outstanding pieces feature intricate replica detailing down to the switches, knobs and even wires. Making it on various magazine covers and features with international recognition, Dan McPharlin’s work has garnered much attention. Many have speculated on the breakup of the Roc-A-Fella camp, but Choke No Joke knows first-hand of what made this empire come crashing down.
The former BET producer and one-time Roc-A-Fella employee explores the infamous breakup of the Roc-A-Fella empire in his upcoming documentary. Choke has combined footage stemming from over a decade and turned it into a probing documentary called “I Am Choke No Joke”.
In the film, he offers his take on what caused the Roc-A-Fella fall-out. Choke hinted at a few segments that will be seen in his documentary and some of the main underlying issues that created the tension between Jay-Z and Dame, as reported by SOHH.com.
“Dame was a camera freak, he loved people to tape him ’cause he started thinking he was a star,” Choke explained. “Ever since the ‘Big Pimpin” video, he started gettin’ a little light and it started to get to his head.”
He also said Dame’s proclamation that Cam’ron would be vice president of the Roc, and the signing of Ol’ Dirty Bastard were among some of the events that caused tension within the camp. “Jay wasn’t feeling none of that sh*t.”

A new standup comic beef has emerged between Katt Williams and Steve Harvey – mostly on Williams’ part – that is expected to be settled during a head-to-head battle on New Year’s Eve in Detroit.
Instigating from the sideline is fellow comic Jamie Foxx, who joined co-hosts of his Sirius XM FoxxHole radio show on Dec. 19 to comment on the absurdity of Williams calling out Harvey in advance of their Dec. 31 show.
First, Foxx plays a clip of Williams dissing Harvey. “I wanna apologize for what’s gonna happen,” Williams said of the joint comedy gig. “But the second that you get on stage, I need you to understand that that’s your final time as the ‘King of Comedy.’ Water seeks its own level, you can’t stop it playboy. It is what it is, so I hope you’re ready. I hope you got a team of writers. You gonna need about six or seven of ‘em….”
Steve Harvey then calls in and says he’s baffled by the whole thing. “I’ve always been cool with Katt. He said in an interview that back in LA, I didn’t know who he was,” Harvey told Foxx and crew. “I mean understand, I didn’t know who he was when I was on the radio in LA. He hadn’t been in any movies or anything, and the brother was just not that known. He was talking about me in the clubs, and I just asked on the radio, whoever Katt Williams is, to call me.
“He called me, we straightened it out. We became friends. We’ve been cool ever since, so I thought.”
On a serious note, Katt Williams came hard, so he better be prepared with some new sh*t. Bossip folk, what’s the business? Is Katt gonna take the crown, or is Steve Harvey gonna put his little ass in time out…forever?

Tennessee’s Chip Saltsman is running for Republican National Committee and thought it was funny and satirical. He sent this to a few of his friends. We came acros some images of the new Yone x Zippo exhibition, that took place in Taiwan. The Japanese photographer worked with Zippo and model Yuki Maomi. The artist did not use the Zippo like we are used to see, with engravements, he actually printed his photos on the upper. The outcome is a huge amount of Zippo lighters, displaying his artwork. Two years ago back in 2006 A Bathing Ape’s first collaborated with Disney on a Winnie the Pooh x Bape plush toy. Then they did it again the next year releasing a Mickey Mouse x Bape plush toy. Now, A Bathing Ape will utilize the characters Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck for their third series. Like the previous plush figures, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck will feature a subtle Bape camo. The Blagojevich fella is not going down without a fight:
In a move intended to force public testimony from President-elect Barack Obama’s inner circle, a lawyer for Gov. Rod Blagojevich has asked the legislative panel considering impeachment of the governor to subpoena more than a dozen witnesses, including Obama’s incoming chief of staff.
State Rep. Barbara Flynn Currie told The Associated Press on Thursday that the House committee received a letter from Blagojevich attorney Ed Genson asking it to subpoena Rep. Rahm Emanuel, Valerie Jarrett and more than a dozen others, including Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.
Currie, the head of the committee, said she didn’t yet know what the committee’s response to Genson’s request would be.
However, she noted that the U.S. Attorney’s office has already denied the panel’s request to interview a list of people named in the criminal complaint against Blagojevich.
U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald said earlier this week that lawmakers’ interviews of current or former members of Blagojevich’s staff might jeopardize his criminal investigation. The Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, wants to wish us a Merry Christmas:
Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will deliver a Christmas Day broadcast on Britain’s Channel 4 television, occupying a slot used to provide an often controversial counterpoint to Queen Elizabeth II’s traditional annual message, the station said Wednesday. In his recorded message, Ahmadinejad offers seasonal greetings to Christians and says he believes that if Jesus were alive, he would “stand with the people in opposition to bullying, ill-tempered and expansionist powers,” an apparent reference to the United States and its allies.
We are anxious to see the new ‘Notorious’ film and see how Biggie is represented on screen. The death of Biggie is still a mystery for a lot of people but here is what we think really happened based on “extremely” reliable sources. Biggie and Pac were both murdered by the South Side Crips in Compton. There is no conspiracy theory!
First, Diddy and Biggie were “loosely” affiliated with the South Side Crips in Compton. Orlando Anderson (”Baby Lane”) who Tupac and Deathrow beat down that night was a member of this gang. After getting beat down, Baby Lane found his homies who were in Vegas and laid down Tupac that night with Suge just escaping death. (Orlando Anderson later was killed in Compton).
Aware of the ongoing Deathrow/Badboy beef, the crips saw the killing of Tupac as a business opportunity. They approached Biggie and indicated they had killed Tupac for him and wanted some money and Biggie told them he wasn’t paying them sh*t and didn’t tell them to murder Pac. It was on after that and the crips killed Biggie when he came back to LA. This is all based on information Bossip has obtained from highly placed sources who were in the know at the time of Biggie’s death.
It is an absolute myth that Pac and Biggie died over Hip-Hop or beef. As a member of the Outlaws said, they died over some “street shit” and the chain of events kicked into gear the night when Deathrow attacked “Baby Lane” in Vegas.
It’s unfortunate two great talents met death so early. RIP.
Goons have put innocent bystanders in danger as they shot up a club in Denver after an E-40 show:
Gunfire erupted, and several people were reportedly shot outside a Denver nightclub during the early morning hours of Saturday (December 27), following a performance by Bay Area superstar E-40.
According to local news outlets, several people opened fire at around 2. a.m., as they exited with a crowd from Denver’s Club Vinyl. During the hail of bullets five people were hit.
Police said that all five victims were transported to Denver Health Medical Center where they were in stable condition. One person is in critical condition, said the hospital, while four others were treated and released.
“It was bullets flying everywhere. It was automatic. It was like a machine gun, ba-dop ba-bop ba-bop ba-bop. It was just really crazy,” Kendall Davis, a security guard with the nearby 11th Avenue Hotel, told KUSA. “At first, we hear a wave of shots and we didn’t realize it was gunfire until we seen a lot of people running by. So then definitely I wanted to secure our building, so we hit all the lights, locked the front door, secured our business because we didn’t want any shooters running in.”
E-40 was performing before a sold out crowd, said reports.
What led to the shooting is currently unknown. At press time, it was unclear if any arrests were made.
